Quantic Dream Rumored to Develop a New Star Wars Game
A renowned French YouTuber has released a short video on a popular microblogging site- Twitter claiming that the Quantic Dream is on a talk with Disney to bring a new edition to Star Wars. Yes, a new Star Wars Game is in talks. Rumors also claim that the game is already under development.
David Cage, the Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain developer, has officially signed a deal with Disney. The developer’s three games’ ongoing contract has been ended recently and they have signed a new contract with Disney, the YouTuber claimed in a video clip released on Twitter.
According to sources and rumors, David Cage is all set to develop a new edition under the Star Wars banner. This means the new game will be a part of the Star Wars Games which is by far the most exciting series for all types of gamers.
Tom Henderson, the industry’s insider has supported this claim. Tom took to Twitter to support the claim published by a French YouTuber. He has shared a mashup video on Twitter featuring Star Wars and Detroit.

In addition to this claim and rumors, earlier this year the official developer of Star Wars, EA has ended their deal. The special exclusivity deal was ended between the Star Wars franchise and EA. This makes it easier for other developers to develop a new edition of the Star Wars game under their own banner.

Tom Henderson has also released a statement regarding the development of their new Star Wars game. He claimed that the company has been working on a new edition of the Star Wars game for 18 months now. They are now under the full production of the game and the development of the game is already on.
Moreover, Quantic Dream’s official Twitter account has liked the Tweet tweeted by the French YouTuber. This approves the rumor itself. So yes, Quantic Dream is already working on the new Star Wars games.
“I also believe that there are other ways of telling moving and emotional stories that we haven’t tried out yet, and I am really interested in exploring new directions,” Cage said in a statement regarding his new venture in the gaming industry.

Quantic Dream’s decade-long Partnership
In 2019, Quantic Dream has officially ended a decade-long partnership with Sony. The company had then released a few new games named Beyond: Two Souls Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain. The official spokesperson said that the new edition of Star Wars will be released for multiple platforms. The game will be compatible with almost all the available gaming platforms including Gaming Consoles and Mobile Devices.
