How to Order from the Canon EOS Rebel Menu

Many Canon DSLR cameras, including the EOS Rebel T7/2000D, allow settings adjustments through external controls and buttons, not limited to flipped-screen models.

This guide provides detailed information on navigating the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D menu, designed to help users fully understand the camera’s functions.

The Main Menu of the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D

The entire Canon EOS Rebel T7 / 2000D Menu is categorized into various sections, each with its respective labels.

The icons that signify the menus have different color codes. For instance, the shooting menu is coded red, and the playback menu is coded with blue icons.

A yellow color represents the setup menu, and the My Menu section is highlighted in green in the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D menu system.

The dots above the menu icons indicate the menu page number, with one dot representing the first page of the menu and two dots indicating the second page, such as the Shooting Menu 2.

The highlighted part of the icons signifies the active menu. The Menu appears automatically on the primary part of the screen.

To display the entire Menu, you must set the Mode dial to AV, TV, P, or M.

In any other modes, you will find that only a small portion of the Menu is displayed, as in the other modes, you have limited control over the camera’s settings.

When you set your camera to movie mode, the menu adjusts to provide three or four shooting options specific to movie recording, replacing some of the standard shooting menu options.

There is a limited version of the Shooting Menu 1 as it is jarred to the room to make some space for the Movie Menus. The menu Icon on the movie menu changes instantly to the Movie menus.

In movie mode on the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D, the menu icons shift to a movie camera symbol to indicate the mode change. The My Menu icon is temporarily removed from the display.

To navigate through the menus, you can rotate the main dial or press the right or left keys.

After you land on the menu option, you can press the down or up button to highlight any of the features and then press OK/set to select it.

After that, you can press the set button again to display all the available options. You can even use the keys to select a setting and press the set button again.

Right after you are done choosing the right options, you can either press the menu button or you can also half-press the shutter button and release it.

How to navigate the custom functions of the Canon EOS Rebel T7/2000D?

Within Setup Menu 3, the Custom Functions option becomes accessible exclusively in TV, AV, P, and M modes, offering advanced settings adjustments.

This Menu contains all the advanced settings. Custom Functions are organized into four categories: Exposure, Autofocus/Drive, Image, and Operations, for comprehensive customization.

The blue text signifies the current settings, while the default setting is represented by 0.

To scroll through the custom function, you can use the navigation key.

After reaching the desired settings you want to adjust, you can press the set button to activate the setting.
