As discussed above, it’s small, and if you are going to use several tabs and windows side by side, this will look cramped in this Chromebook. However, it’s perfect for regular usage.

The tablet is made of aluminum alloy, and hence it’s durable and sturdy. It has an excellent performance where even if you open up 10-12 tabs at once, the performance won’t go down that much.

Although if you go up to 14 or more tabs, things may start getting slow, or tabs may even crash.

Hence, this tablet isn’t exactly ideal for multi-tasking. Apart from that, it has excellent features and is one of the best laptops under $300 that you can get. Let’s check out its features below.

6 Features of Lenovo Chromebook Duet

On its own, each feature of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is excellent. From an innovative design to the detachable keyboard and reliable battery life, the laptop includes all the crucial features you may require for regular usage.

Let’s see how its features work for better understanding.

Lenovo Chromebook Duet – Features of Lenovo Chromebook Duet

1. Design

The tablet has a classy look with a detachable keyboard and a kickstand cover. It has thick obsolete bezels as well.

This laptop comes with a 2 color theme of light blue and iron-gray. Furthermore, its black Chrome Logo also completes its look.

The top left corner of this laptop includes a “Lenovo” printed in black color with a rectangle silver plate.

Since the back is covered in fabric, it is a lot more comfortable to hold, and one can use it as a tab after detaching the keyboard.

This laptop has good quality and is made of a mixture of aluminum and plastic, making it pretty durable. However, there’s no saying about the detachable keyboard since it feels a bit flimsy.

2. Size

The laptop is ultra-portable and fits any bag without hassle. Even though the back cover and keyboard add thickness to it, it’s still quite portable. Its measurements include:

  • Weight: 0.47kg
  • Volume: 266.007cm³
  • Width: 23.9cm
  • Depth: 15.9cm
  • Thickness: 0.7cm

It’s like a miniature laptop that can be folded in a book-like way. It’s a lightweight product that you can carry anywhere without much worry.

3. Display

This Chromebook comes with a satisfactory display that has a high-quality 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 display.

It shows satisfactory display and shows accurate results. It has sRGB color gamut coverage of 106% and shows the widest range of colors compared to its competitors.

Furthermore, it’s highly color accurate and has a near-perfect 0.2 (close to zero) Delta-E rating.

It has 372 nits of brightness and some excellent touchscreen gestures as per the Chrome 81 update. Its refresh rate is 60Hz without VRR support.

Furthermore, it comes with decent reflection handling as well. It supports Universal Stylus Initiative and is touch-sensitive. Check out its exact screen specs below:

  • Screen-To-Body Ratio: 70%
  • Panel Type: IPS
  • Resolution: 1920 x 1200
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:10
  • Pixel Density: 229 PPI

4. Interface

The Lenovo Chromebook Duet comes with fairly stable detachable keyboards that provide a good typing experience.

However, if you are looking for a better typing experience, then this one is not the top choice. When it comes to the touchpads, it’s quite small, and their palm rejection isn’t perfect.

Its speakers have a max volume of 73 dB SPL and sound smooth, but it isn’t perfect in terms of heavy bass drops. This laptop has 720p resolution and is situated at the top center of the display when it comes to webcam quality.

5. Performance

In terms of performance, this laptop is excellent. You can open up several tabs on it, and it won’t crash. Although, you should try not to open more than 12 tabs at once for better performance.

It has 4GB Ram and has an overall good speed. It has a single CPU configuration which is the MediaTek Helio P60T.

It’s good for tasks that have light productivity, such as using the Office Suite, checking emails, etc.

However, it won’t perform well when it comes to video editing, creating animation, etc. Its GPU is Mali-G72 MP3 which handles some games from Google Play Store and other light tasks.

However, it isn’t suggested for high graphics, games or tasks. Its usable capacity is 46 GB, and its total capacity is 64 GB. The sad part is that its 4GB Ram isn’t upgradeable.

6. Battery Life

The battery life of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is perfect. Whether you are traveling or working straight for 8 hours at a place where you can’t put it for charging, this laptop will work effectively.

With more than 11 hours of battery life after a full charge, this laptop works wonders. Even with continuous web surfing, you can use it for more than 11 hours, which is excellent compared to its competitors.

Summing it up!

The boot speed of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is pretty quick, and it has a user-friendly interface. Furthermore, you can also access your favorite android apps through its Chrome OS.

This laptop also supports instant tethering. Although it’s not entirely flawless, its performance is quite great. For a regular working experience and usage, it’s pretty great.

However, this laptop is not made for a heavy workload. It’s close to perfection, also keeping in mind the fact that it comes around the price range of $300.

Hope this review helps you understand the main features of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet and whether it’s worth buying or not.
