Step 1.

Always remember to turn off your Canon 80D digital camera while connecting to a computer. Step 2.

Turn on your camera. Allow some time for the driver to get installed on the computer or laptop. Be patient, it may take some time to download the driver.

Step 3.

Once the driver is downloaded, you will see a pop-up window on your screen asking what you want to do with the device once the drivers are installed. This means your driver installation is successful, and you are ready to dump the photographs.

Step 4.

Now ‘double click’ on the My Computer. You will see the icon of the driver installed.

Step 5.

Double Click on the SD card option once you enter the folder of the camera.

You will see the camera storage folder on your screen. You can rename the folder by whatever name or number your desire. Double click on the storage folder. These digital cameras have the folder by the name of DCIM. There may be a sub-folder within the basic folder where you will find the photographs. Press ‘easy connection’ option on Connect the camera directly to drive.

Select the folder name in which you have stored the photographs.   Now, drop down the WiFi option on your computer and start downloading. The rest of the procedure is the same as with USB cable.
