Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Suffering from Global Outage
Top social media players Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are down as suspected Global outages or any technical failure disrupted their services.
The platform, owned by American internet giant player Facebook. Millions of users around the globe complained that fresh messages and user feeds were not being loaded.
Reuters couldn’t confirm the exact reason behind this issue yet. However, the error message on the Facebook webpage suggested a DNS error. DNS basically allows web addresses to take users to the destinations.
When contacted, a spokesperson of Facebook said, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience”

Downdetector, a platform that detects only outages by collecting data from different sources along with user-submitted errors on its platform, showed there were more than 100,000 people reporting issues with Facebook only. You can check for more information at https://downdetector.com/
Many users use their Facebook login credentials on third-party apps to play games like Pokemon Go and Match Masters were also facing the same issues.
“If your game isn’t running as usual please note that there’s been an issue with Facebook login servers and the moment this gets fixed all will be back to normal,” the Match Masters gaming app said on its Twitter account.

Due to global outages, the Facebook share price also fell down by 5.5% afternoon trading on Monday.
Meanwhile, officials in the social media giant said that urgent steps are being taken to sort out these issues ASAP.
